The Immortelle plant is an aromatic herb, native to the Mediterranean, with yellow, daisy-like flowers.The flowers do not wither and are popular with florists, hence their name Everlasting Flowers or the French Immortelle.

Latin name: Helichrysum Italicum Origin: Bosnia (although it grows quite happily here in my Kentish garden in the UK)
Method of extraction: Steam distillation of the fresh flowering tops.
